Contemporary Portraits to Capture Important Memories
This is the 2nd time I have had the opportunity to photograph Ashton and I have really enjoyed it both times. Ashton always gives me great expressions, both smiling and natural. I’m predicting one day he will be Mr GQ and the ladies better watch out. A few favs from Ashton’s recent session.
Sharon purchased a gift certificate last Christmas for her in-laws to have their portraits created. Recently 3 families came gather at the studio to create a family portrait. I know that each family will value and enjoy them now, but as time passes, I know these portraits will become invaluable to the children and grand children. Sharon truly gave a gift that will grow more in valuable each day. A few images from the family portrait session.
Jaime and John chose me to create their maternity portraits as they will be welcoming a new addition to their family in September. They are such a photogenic couple that I could see them gracing the cover of a maternity magazine. They were both super fun to work with and very patient as worked to capture a variety of moods to reflect their joyous occasion. A few of my favs are below. I cant wait for September to photograph their newborn. Congrats Jaime and John.
Mandi is one of the first 2011 Seniors from McKinney Boyd High School. Mandi brought most of her wardrobe (which I always request) so we had lots clothing choices to pick from. She also brought her flute since music is an important part of her life.
If the 2011 seniors are any thing like Mandi, I can promise you will see lots of breath taking portraits filling the pages of my blog.

I recently posted about Shanon and Kade’s pending arrival and now she is here. Meet Shelby! Miss Shelby came in just a few days after she was born to have her first newborn and family portraits created. She was so excited about the event she didn’t want to go to sleep and miss any of it! Eventually she decided it was time for a nap and we captured some wonderful images. A few are below. Congrats Shanon and Kade!
